Lucy Maree Murdoch of Aren't Loose Designs
I am an independent artist living in Invercargill, New Zealand. 2019 saw the completion of the third year of my Bachelor of Visual Art (level 7) at Southern Institute of Technology. My passion as an artist is visual storytelling using figurative sculpture, drawing and painting. Interested in exploring other visual media in 2020.
2020 has been interesting so far, Covid19 has meant a different world for everyone. As as artist I have continued on tutoring the small group of students at The Activity Center teaching creative practice and in a way art therapy. I was awarded a scholarship through The Learning Connexion via distance delivery over lockdown and continue with this part time into 2021. This allows me to further explore my ideas I started in my degree.
I am all about creativity, creative play and exploring a trans media approach to story telling.
